Description & Application:

Magic Slip Clay-01 and 02 are high bright washed (hydrous) soft kaolin designed for the paint and paper industries.

They feature in good scale and flaky morphology after peeling, large ratio of flake diameter to thickness, and stable chemical properties, so it is used as papermaking filler and paper coating to improve the gloss, whiteness, smoothness and printing performance of paper, fill the gaps between paper fibers, and improve opacity.

In the manufacturing process of coated paper and paperboard, they can be used as top-coating & pre-coating pigment, which can improve the permeability and tolerance of paper to ink and improve the smoothness and gloss appearance of paper.
